Qatar's Embassy in Canada Marks National Day

Ottawa, December 18 (QNA) - HE Qatar's Ambassador to Canada Fahad Yousuf Kafoud held a reception to celebrate Qatar's National Day.    The ceremony was attended by a number of ministers, senior officials and members of the Senate and the House of Commons in Canada, in addition to members of the diplomatic corps in Ottawa.      On the sidelines of the ceremony, HE the Ambassador handed awards to the winners of children drawing contest Qatar 2014, which was held on the occasion of the National Day and saw the participation of 30 students from a number of Canadian schools. The contest focused on Qatari-Canadian ties and the students expressed through their drawings the depth of the relations between the two countries. (QNA)
