Qatar's Minister of Transport Visits Tourist Port and Airport Expansion Project for Kish Island

Kish/Iran, April 11 (QNA) - HE Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif bin Ahmed Al Sulaiti, accompanied by HE Iran's Minister of Road and Urban Development Rostam Qassemi, visited the tourist port and the airport expansion project for the Iranian island of Kish. During the two visits, HE Minister of Transport listened to a detailed explanation from those responsible for the two projects about the components of the tourist port, its operational processes and the movement of cruise ships, in addition to learning about the stages of expansion of Kish Airport and the services it provides. The two visits were attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Hajri, HE Ambassador Yousef Sultan Yousef Larem, Director of Asian Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a number of senior officials in the transport and communications sector in the two countries.
