QS Totally Arts Summit in Bangkok set Oct 24-26

BANGKOK, October 10 (TNA) - Thailand-based Silpakorn University has been selected as the world's first university to become a partner of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a UK-based company that is globally-renowned in its specializing in education and the "QS World University Rankings" annual report, to jointly organize the QS Totally Arts Summit in Bangkok during October 24-26, 2018. Silpakorn University's Rector Dr. Wanchai Sutananta told journalists on Wednesday 18 best-selected master pieces of outstanding painting and design of Silpakorn students that have been awarded top prizes in the country and kept at his university's Art Center will be on public display during the upcoming three-day arts event, aimed to publicize the Thai arts master pieces internationally. "The 18 arts master pieces to be on public display during the QS Totally Arts Summit, set to be held at the Millennium Hilton Bangkok Hotel, are the best selected ones among thousands of pieces that have been kept at the Arts Center of Silpakorn University", said the rector. According to the rector, public forums in which arts specialists will be invited as key note speakers to share their experiences and international visitors are welcome to participate will also be organized as part of the upcoming event.
