RCO holds annual celebration

Manama, Mar. 3 (BNA): Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Board of Trustees Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the care given by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the RCO Honorary President, to charity and humanitarian work. He lauded HM the King's paternal care for the RCO-affiliated families, stressing the royal keenness to provide optimum services to ensure a decent and stable life for all. He also emphasised keenness of HM the King to provide quality assistance for all needy people in Bahrain which resulted in developing charity and humanitarian work inside and outside Bahrain and bringing about numerous accomplishments. He also commended the support of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
HH Shaikh Nasser was speaking on the occasion of the annual ceremony held by RCO for its employees in tribute for the efforts of the executive directorate and RCO personnel in carrying out the royal directives and providing all types of care and assistance for RCO-registered families. He conveyed the greetings of HM the King to members of the Board of Trustees and RCO staff, lauding their outstanding role in serving the orphans, widows and the needy. He said everybody has contributed directly to the success of the organisation, highlighting its achievements and projecting it worldwide. He called on all to continue working with dedication to achieve the visions and aspirations of HM the King.
RCO Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Sayed extended heartfelt thanks and respect to HM the King for his care for RCO-registered families and constant directives to provide the best services for them. He also commended the support of HRH the Premier and HRH the Crown Prince, praising the efforts of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to promote charity work. He lauded HH Shaikh Nasser's keenness to participate in the annual celebration and honour distinguished and hard-working employees. He thanked the Board of Trustees members for their big role in supporting the organisation's programmes and projects. He welcomed Labour and Social Development Ministry Undersecretary Sabah Salim Al Dossari, wishing him constant success in the Board of Trustees membership. He expressed heartfelt thanks and respect to the RCO personnel for their tireless efforts in carrying out the royal directives and improving the organisation's services. He called on the staff to continue the efforts with dedication to serve Bahrain and uphold its name in various gatherings. He also cast light on the organisation's main achievements in 2018, underlining its charity and humanitarian contributions in Bahrain and abroad.
Employees who received the Outstanding Employer remuneration were honoured during the celebration. They are Ahmed Sai'i, Noor Rashid Khalfan, Abdulrahman Adnan Al Qattan, Atef Ahmed Al Marzooqi, Jihad Jassim Al Sadoon, Hani Mohammed Al Ansari, Lulua Mohammed Al Banna, Yusef Abdullah Saleh, Dalal Ali Al Hamza, Imen Abdullah Buzaboon, Fatima Hassan Al Hammad, Ahmed Ismail Selibikh, Ghada Abdulrahman Janahi, Nevine Abdulwahid Abdullatif, Halima Salah Hassan, Sabeel Abu Baker, Naila Isa Al Mennai, Radhia Nabi Bakhech Al Balushi and Nawaz Ali Konjou.
Heba Ibrahim Hajji, the senior specialist in charity and humanitarian programmes, was also honoured as the Employer of the Year 2018 in recognition of her efforts to upgrade services for the RCO-affiliated families.
