Readout of HRH the Crown Prince's meeting with Italy’s Minister of Defence

Manama, Oct. 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met with Italy’s Minister of Defence, HE Elisbetta Trenta, on the side-lines of the 2018 Manama Dialogue. HRH the Crown Prince emphasised the importance of strengthening Bahrain-Italy bilateral relation across all sectors. HRH the Crown Prince reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to further advance collaboration with the international community to combat terrorism and extremism in all forms. HRH the Crown Prince concluded by thanking the Minister of Defence for her participation at the 2018 Manama Dialogue, noting that it reflects Italy’s commitment to addressing global security issues. HH Sh. Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Minister of Defence Affairs Lieutenant General Yousef bin Ahmed bin Hussain Al Jalahma, and a high-level delegation accompanying the Italian Minister of Defence also attended the meeting.
