In remembrance of Great King
BANGKOK, Oct 28 (TNA) -- After the Royal Cremation Day of HM late King Bhumibol Adulyadej passed, people are travelling home in upcountry with good memory of the late King’s stories and their experience of the historic event.
After the end of the transfer the Royal Ashes and the Royal Relics from the royal crematorium to the Grand Palace on the ceremonial procession on Friday, mourners who had camped out at Sanam Luang area started to return home, carrying belongings and souvenirs from attending the royal cremation ceremony.
A woman from Chon Buri stayed for the past five days. She joined her peers here in grieving and now she was ready to go home. She said she met a lot of people from various provinces and joined them singing songs, composed by the late King. She had never heard these songs before but she vowed to practice singing the King’s songs at home from now on.
The vicinity of Sanam Luang ceremonial ground, which was packed with hundred thousand of people earlier is now not crowed. A school director from Prachinburi province said he was about to leave. He would tell the story of his four-day participation in the royal cremation ceremony to his students. He would them what the late Kign had done in over 70 years of his reign.
As the authority announced that there was five minutes left for public members to stay in the ceremonial area, people took photos with the background of the royal crematorium to be remembered as once in a lifetime experience. Some sat on the ground, carrying the late King’s portrait and some prostrated on the ground to pay respect to the late King. It is the morning after the night of sadness. They will remember atmosphere here on Thursday and the late King will be always in their heart. (TNA)
