Representatives Council's committee stresses parliamentary support for Saudi Arabia

Manama, Feb. 27 (BNA): The Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee at the Representatives Council has expressed the parliamentary full support for the statement issued by the Saudi Foreign Affairs Ministry in response to the report submitted to the US Congress regarding the murder of Saudi citizen, Jamal Khashoggi. The committee expressed its categorical rejection of any attempts to undermine sisterly Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, voicing its solidarity with the tremendous efforts it is making at the regional and global levels to face all challenges, ensure regional security and stability, as well as boost global economic growth. The Shura Council affirmed the prominent and pivotal role played by Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, praising Saudi Arabia’s wise policies, moderate approach, leading Arab and Islamic role and humanitarian efforts that benefited all peoples of the world.
