Representatives' Secretariat, BIPD sign cooperation agreement

Manama, Jan. 3 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives, Rashid Mohammed Bu-Najma, and Executive Director of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD), Anwar Ahmed, today signed a cooperation agreement aimed at improving efficiency and enhancing capacities of the staff of the Representatives’ General Secretariat.  The agreement is a continuation of the ongoing cooperation and strategic partnership between the two sides in the area of organizing training programmes and holding courses for the parliamentarians and staff of the General Secretariat.  Bu-Najma highlighted the significance of cooperation and exchange of expertise between national institutions in the support of the royal reforms and democratic process.
