Representatives Secretary General receives Kuwaiti delegation

Manama, Apr. 9 (BNA): Council of Representatives’ Secretary General Rashid Bu Najma today received a Kuwaiti delegation led by Shaikha Suhaila Al Sabah, on the sidelines of the delegation’s visit to attend the 19th Gulf Disability Society Forum held on April 9-11. Bu Najma welcomed collaborating with community initiatives aimed at incorporating the disabled people into the society. He paid tribute to the educational and awareness activities of the Gulf Disability Society. He stressed providing support for the disabled people and integrating them into the society as an active category, hailing Bahrain’s efforts to provide them with rehabilitating and training services. Shaikha Suhaila Al Sabah lauded Bahrain’s efforts in this regard, noting Bahrain’s National Strategy for Persons with Disabilities and its contribution to integrating this category into the society.
