RERA joins National Suggestions & Complaints System ‘Tawasul’

Manama, Jan. 22 (BNA): The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) CEO Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa announced today that RERA joined the National Suggestions & Complaints System ‘Tawasul’ which enables direct interaction amongst governmental entities and beneficiaries to submit any enquiries, suggestions or complaints. Since RERA was launched on 1st of March 2018 one of its key objectives is the delivery of service excellence to a diverse range of stakeholders through its team of professionals who are trained to handle citizens’ suggestions and complaints, respond and resolve issues in an effective and efficient manner as well as implement service improvements and enhancements where appropriate. RERA collaborated with the Information & eGovernment Authority to train employees in order to effectively and professionally handle received cases. In addition to RERA, over 30 governmental entities are now available on the Tawasul system. Tawasul is accessible via the National Portal at Bahrain.bh or smartphone app via the eGovernment Apps Store at www.Bahrain.bh/apps. The system provides users with many features such as easily submitting suggestions or complaints to governmental entities with the ability to attach documents in a timespan that does not exceed 30 seconds. The user can then follow-up on the submitted suggestion or complaint through the given reference number along with the poll presented for applicants’ feedback.
