Results of “Direct link” with President of RK
Astana, November 18, 2009 (Khabar) - Replies to all the questions posed by Kazakh people during the “direct link” with the president on the 13th of November will be given by the end of the month. Specialists of state offices were involved in this work. The exact number of questions received by the head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev during the direct link amounts to 44, 784. This campaign has become unprecedented concerning its scale. The web portal registered more than one million visits and over 100 thousand users. At the same time, not only Kazakhstani citizens but residents from 86 other countries showed interest as well, including Russia, Germany, the USA, Great Britain, Ukraine, Canada, China and Czech Republic. The head of state answered more than fifty questions and addresses by the public in the course of almost three hours.
Vladimir Nekhoroshev, MP of Kazakhstan:
- While listening to answers I got added evidence that the head of state keeps abreast of the events really good and how deeply he’s aware of the problems which are common for the state today. Such problems are related to the issues of crisis, banking system, food program, and others. So we’re witnessing some programs being implemented to show how we’re to overcome this crisis situation and how the state will be developing further tomorrow.
Tito Syzdykov, MP of Kazakhstan:
- A lot of issues which hadn’t been resolved for many years have been settled today. And the population obtained answers to their questions concerning the issues of mortgages, shared construction, and attracting young specialists to village areas.
The call-center completed processing all the received questions. They will be sent to offices in charge alongside heads of cities and regions.
Aliya Galimova, head of Call-center:
- About 10 thousand questions were directed towards the Ministry of labour and social security of the population, over 3 thousand questions were posed for the Agency for construction and housing and communal services, over 4.5 thousand questions were received at the Ministry of education and science and over 2 thousand at the Healthcare Ministry.
According to the call-center’s officials, such interest in the “direct link” showed that Kazakhstani people are not indifferent to issues of the country’s development. The time restriction for the live broadcast didn’t allow for covering all the problems people are concerned about. However, while summarizing the result of the dialogue in a live television broadcast, the head of state noted that every question will find its specific addressee as the ministries, offices, and administrations were commissioned to present full and complete replies to people’s questions. They will be posted on the www.line.gov.kz website by the 15th of December.
