Results of socio-economic development of Almaty

Almaty, October 29, 2009 (Khabar) - Almaty still remains financial and business center, the main donor of republican budget. Decrease in volumes of bank crediting has led to appreciable reduction of volumes of output. However thanks to the state support the situation has started to stabilize. Now in Almaty two key anti-recessionary programs for the sum of 103 billion tenge are realized. By means of "Road map" 45 thousand citizens are provided by work. City mayor Ahmetzhan Yesimov also has noticed that the problem of shareholders will be completely solved in the near future. This year building of 29 inhabited complexes comes to the end and almost 8 thousand families will celebrate long-awaited house warming. Recently positive tendencies also were outlined in economic indicators. The sizes of investment of economy have increased by 35 per cent, building growth has begun, the new small and average enterprises open.

- It is necessary to extend main principles of our anti-recessionary program for 2010, to be prepared for "Road map" realization, to carry out all necessary actions to the large-scale action «State purchases of Almaty – 2010» with attraction of "Samruk-Kazyna". I am assured that the thought over realization planned, acceptance of well-founded decisions and their execution will allow to overcome difficulties and to follow a way of a steady post crisis development of the city.
