Rights institution takes part in Youth City 2030

Manama, Aug.2 (BNA): The National Institution of Human Rights (NIHR) took part in the Youth City 2030. The Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Labour Fund -"Tamkeen"- co-organized the annual event which aims at building a national partnership that hones youth skills. The institution delivered a series of lectures with focused mainly on the role it plays in protecting and consolidating the culture of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The two-day event, which included contests related to human rights, attracted more than 300 young participants who were presented with prizes. NIHR Secretary-General Dr. Khalifa bin Ali Al-Fadhel stressed the importance of such events which aim at supporting youth culturally and intellectually so that they could serve their nation. He commended the role and dedicated efforts of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to engage the youth in cultural programmes.
