Road and Transport Development Minister meets his Russian counterpart

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Road and Transport Development B.Enkh-Amgalan is attending ‘Transport Week 2019’ international forum, which is taking place between November 17 and 21 in Moscow, Russia. On the sidelines of the forum, Minister B.Enkh-Amgalan held an official meeting with his Russian counterpart Y.I.Dietrich on November 18. At the meeting, the Ministers thoroughly exchanged views on preparation works of Mongolian Premier’s official visit to the Russian Federation to be paid in the near future and wide range of issues on bilateral cooperation in transport sector. In particular, the sides came to a decision to develop win-win cooperation within Intergovernmental Agreement between Mongolia, Russia and China on International Road Transport along the Asian Highway Network as well as to pay special attention on further implementation of reform, development projects and actions that reflected in the Agreement on Reform of the Ulaanbaatar Railway Joint Venture and Development Strategic Partnership established between the Mongolian Ministry of Road and Transport Development and Russian Railways JSC. Tomorrow, on November 20, Minister B.Enkh-Amgalan will take part in the plenary meeting of the forum under the topic ‘Transport-Fundamental of Eurasian Integration’ as a speaker and he will visit the exhibition, which promotes international transport companies.
