Round table at the Amanat debating-society

Astana, October 16, 2009 (Khabar) - The Amanat debating-society under the Nur Otan People’s Democratic Party has organized the “Phenomenom of the nation’s leader” round table discussion as part of which the initiative of the first deputy head of Nur Otan, Darkhan Kaletayev to give the head of state the status of father of the nation was discussed. Attendees noted that at the beginning of the 1990s, some analysts predicted that Kazakhstan would become the epicenter of various conflicts. These predictions did not come true due to the policy of the first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Bekbulat Tleukhan, deputy of RK Majilis Parliament:
- Kazakhstan was compared with a powder keg, which was about to explode. Experts said that the Northern regions of the country would become epicenters of interethnic conflict. It was the beginning of a new stage of Kazakhstan’s history and Nursultan Nazarbayev took the lead of the country.

Aidar Abauov believes that only the leader of the nation can create a sovereign and independent state, develop a Constitution, domestic and foreign policy, define economic direction and create the philosophy of a new state.

- It is the philosophy of the creation of a new Kazakhstan. In this country, the interests of nationalities are protected. This country initiated the construction of the Palace of peace and Accord and the staging of three congresses of leaders of world and traditional religions. Almost all foreign leaders admit to the contribution of the head of our country to the idea of interfaith accord.
