Royal address praised

Manama, Oct. 17 (BNA): The address delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa while patronising the opening ceremony of the third session of the Fourth Legislative Term is a roadmap for the future at the levels of national action, politics, and social and economic development, Housing Minister, Bassim bin Yaqoob Al-Hamar, said. The address embodied HM King Hamad's vision regarding the political, economic and social development in the midst of the challenges currently faced by countries across the world. He stressed that HM the King is interested first and foremost in ways to improve the standards of living of the Bahraini citizens, which, he said, requires the implementation of the royal directives to achieve development goals under the umbrella of the Government Action Plan, in accordance with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. Al-Hamar affirmed that the royal praise of the successes in the housing fields is a source of pride, and will motivate the Ministry of Housing's personnel to exert more efforts to achieve the set goals. He added that the kingdom's strides in the housing sector are the fruitful outcome of the royal care and directives, noting that since the issuance of the royal order to build 40,000 units, the Housing Ministry has implemented many projects, including thousands of units, across the kingdom's governorates.
