Royal directives meeting citizens' aspirations commended

Manama, Dec. 30 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh stressed that the royal directives would be a reference for legislators to bring more achievements in the interest of the homeland and citizens. He said HM the King would always be the key supporter for the progress of the democratic and legislative process. The Shura Chairman said that after he and a number of parliamentarians today met with HM the King. He praised the royal support for the Shura Council, which contributed to promoting the modernization and reform steps. He pointed out that the Shura efforts would continue implementing the royal directives to meeting citizens' aspirations and providing them with decent living standards in cooperation with the Representatives Council and government chaired by HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the support of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
