Royal order new milestone in democratic development

Manama, Sept. 10 (BNA): Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and Head of the Supreme Committee to Oversee the Integrity of Elections Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa described the forthcoming parliamentary elections for the 5th legislative term as an incentive to boost democratic achievements within the framework of the comprehensive development process spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He described issuance of the royal order as a new national milestone in the kingdom's democratic development. He stressed that the royal reform project had lain the bases of the democratic approach within the framework of the state of institutions and law and in tune with the principles approved by the Bahraini people in the National Action Charter. The Justice Minister lauded the national competencies in organising the elections under utter judicial supervision to guarantee their transparency and enable the voters to exercise their constitutional political rights of choosing members of the Representatives Council.
