Royal praise for BDF, security efforts to defend national unity, achievements

Manama, May 22 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today at the Sakhir Palace reeived BDF Commander-in-chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, National Guards Commander General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, National Security Agency Chief Lt-Gen Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhil and senior officers of the same, who expressed utmost Ramadan greetings to HM the King, wishing him good health and happiness and the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. HM the King exchanged Ramadan greetings, wishing many happy returns of the blessed month. HM the King expressed pride in the huge role of all personnel of the BDF, National Guards, Interior Ministry and National Security Agency in defending the national unity, gains and achievements and enforcing the law. HM the King praised the coordination and cooperation between the BDF and security agencies, taking pride in the closely-knit social fabric that stems from citizens’ awareness of the importance of shared responsibility in the development and maintaining security. HM the King paid tribute to the brave BDF participation in the Saudi-led Arab coalition Operation Restoring Hope in support of legitimacy in Yemen and offering humanitarian relief to the brotherly Yemenis there, in addition to countering terrorism and defending the land of the Two Holy Mosques. HM the King extended Ramadan greetings to the valiant men at their positions inside the homeland and abroad, praying to Almighty God to rest the souls of fallen soldiers in eternal peace.
