Royal reforms highlighted

Manama, Sep. 10 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla welcomed the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, during chairing today parliament session, to continue to develop the political and democratic life in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Al Mulla emphasized that the royal directives are motives to the Representatives and Shura councils to bring new achievements, pointing out the Council of Representatives is one of the fruit of the royal reforms that lead Bahrain to a new era of democracy. He said the royal reforms were a national umbrella project that offered democracy as a way of life and highlighted the role of institutions. He said the Shura and Representatives councils achievements’ have contributed to strengthening the democratic process, stressing that the royal support for the legislative branch has assisted it to preform its national duties. He hailed the royal directives to the government to provide all elements of success to ensure free, fair and transparent parliamentary elections.
