Royal support to women’s empowerment hailed

Manama, Dec.13(BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received a cable of thanks from Council of Representatives Speaker Fouzia Zainal in reply to HM the King’s cable of congratulations on being the first woman to be elected to this position.  The Speaker paid tribute to HM the King for supporting Bahraini women’s empowerment in light of the reform project and democratic process, pledging to spare no effort, with other lawmakers, to implement the political, economic and social roadmap chartered in the royal keynote speech.  She vowed to use all constitutional and legal instruments to support all that bolsters Bahrain’s progress and prosperity, maintains its security and stability,  consolidates its advanced ranking in the field of sustainable human development and achieves citizens’ aspirations.
