Royal Thai Army urges all parties to seek peaceful solution

BANGKOK, December 9 (TNA) - The Royal Thai Army has called on all concerned parties to find a peaceful solution to the ongoing domestic political situation, while upholding the army’s policy on impartially protecting people of all walks of life, including government officials, protesters and the general public, and the nation. Royal Thai Army Deputy Spokesman Colonel Winthai Suwari made the call on Monday, acknowledging that the Royal Thai Army's duties include the promotion and the creation of national peace and order, as well as love and harmony among Thai people. The army deputy spokesman reiterated that the military hopes all parties in the Thai society jointly find a peaceful solution now, despite their ideological differences, as the situation has relieved to a certain extent in the wake of the House dissolution earlier in the day. The army deputy spokesman also called on all concerned parties in Thailand to prioritize national interest.(TNA)
