Russia to boost oil supplies for China refinery - Rosneft head

SHANGHAI, May 20 /Itar-Tass/ - Russian oil major Rosneft will boost oil supplies for China’s Tianjin refinery by over 9 million tons, Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin said on Tuesday. “We have reached a very important agreement on the specific schedule of approving documents on the design and construction of an oil refinery in Tianjin, with an increase of oil supplies for the refinery by 9.1 million tons,” Sechin said. Oil deliveries will be made by sea through the Russian Pacific port of Kozmino. “We believe that this is a very important document, which defines the refinery’s commissioning schedule and stipulates its launch into operation by late 2019,” Sechin said.
