Russia-China agreement to hold Innoprom-2015 to be signed at Sochi forum

YEKATERINBURG, July 14 (Itar-Tass) - Russia-China agreement to hold together the major international industrial exhibition Innoprom in Yekaterinburg next year will be signed at an economic forum in Russia's city of Sochi in September, Sverdlovsk region governor Yevgeny Kuivashev told ITAR-TASS on Monday. Preliminary agreements had already been reached, he said, adding that the two sides would negotiate the details and sign corresponding documents. “Joint organisation of the exhibition will attract about 100 more exhibitors,” Kuivashev said. “China’s business is interested in presenting their products at Innoprom. That is why we should work on developing the exhibition’s infrastructure.” The international industrial trade fair Innoprom-2014 took place in the city of Yekaterinburg in Russia's Urals from July 9 to 12. The exhibition gathered representatives from more than 70 countries of the world. The biggest delegations came from China, Japan, Germany, Thailand, Latin American countries, and Arab countries. Russia invited China to become its partner country at Innoprom-2015. This was announced at a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping in Shanghai in May. The Innoprom fair, organised under the patronage of the Russian Ministry for Industry and Trade, is dedicated to intelligent technologies, materials and solutions enabling production efficiency growth. It assembles enterprises and companies offering solutions for production modernisation and creating technologies that increase efficiency, speed and quality, and improving the ecological performance of manufacturing processes.
