Russia to create 5.3 bln rbl special econ zone in Vladivostok

MOSCOW, August 20 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia will allocate 5.365 billion rubles to establish an industrial special economic zone in the city of Vladivostok, according to a government ruling released Wednesday. Under the ruling, the Economic Development Ministry and Finance Ministry must envisage spending of up to 5.365 billion rubles for this purpose while preparing the federal budget for 2015-2017. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev sighed the ruling earlier in August and said on Monday that the decision was one of the options to support priority development of the country’s Far East.
