Russian state weaponry exporter to represent 400 companies at fair in Turkey

MOSCOW, May 5. /TASS/. Main exporter of Russian defence industry products, Rosoboronexport, will display the produce of more than 400 Russian manufacturers at IDEF’15 exhibition in Turkey, the head of the company’s delegation, Anatoly Aksyonov told TASS. "Rosoboronexport is the only state mediator in Russia in terms of exports and imports of the entire spectrum of defence-related and dual products, technologies and services. Its status furnishes it with unique opportunities to represent its products at the international defence industry fair IDEF’15 in Istanbul," Aksyonov said. IDEF’15 will be held in Istanbul from May 5 through to May 8. It organizers say more than 700 companies from 46 countries will be represented. The largest displays are those of Turkey with 265 companies and the U.S. (101 companies). German, British and French pavilions at the fair will also be impressive. Russia will be represented by the state corporation Rotech and Rosoboronexport, which is a subsidiary of the former. Read more
