Salvador Dali exhibition in Ankara

ANKARA (A.A) - March 19, 2012 - An exhibition consisting the works of Salvador Dali will be on display in Turkish capital of Ankara as of March 23.
The Salvador Dali exhibition could be visited at the Cer Modern center of Ankara until May 20.
The exhibition could be visited every day between 10.00 and 18.00 hours except on Mondays. On Thursdays, the exhibition could be visited between 10.00 and 20.00 hours.
Dali was a prominent Spanish surrealist painter born in Figueres, Catalonia, Spain on May 11, 1904.
Dali was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealist work. His painterly skills are often attributed to the influence of Renaissance masters. His best-known work, "The Persistence of Memory", was completed in 1931. Dali's expansive artistic repertoire includes film, sculpture, and photography, in collaboration with a range of artists in a variety of media.
Dali passed away on January 23, 1989.
