Saudi confirms 1,122 COVID-19 cases

Riyadh, Apr. 20(BNA): The Saudi health authorities have confirmed 1,122 new novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, including 874 active cases. The Health Ministry announced 402 in Makkah; 200 in Riyadh; 186 in Jeddah; 120 in Madinah; 78 in Dammam; 63 in Hafouf; 39 in Jubail; 16 in Taif; 9 in Zulfi; 5 in Khobar; 3 in each of Abha, Buraydah and Najran; one in each of Diriyah, Yanbu and Al-Madha. “ The overall number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Saudi Arabia stand at 10,484 – of which 8,891 cases diagnosed as active and 88 diagnosed as critical," said Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali , adding that 92 cases have recovered today, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1490. In a statement posted on the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he said that 103 infected patients have passed today, including 6 coronavirus-related deaths today.
