Saudi Red Crescent head meets Turkish health minister

ANKARA (A.A) - Saudi Arabian Red Crescent Chairman Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz on Tuesday met with Turkish Health Minister Recep Akdag in the Turkish capital, Ankara. Speaking to reporters, Akdag said the meeting sought to devise ways for cooperation between his ministry and the Saudi Red Crescent in rescue and relief efforts as well as in manufacturing blood products. Akdag also said Turkey was ready to extend help to Saudi Arabia during the season of Hadj, the Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca.   The Saudi prince on his part said he was set to sign a cooperation protocol with Turkey on Wednesday.
