SCE Chief meets South Korean ambassador

Manama, (BNA): Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mohammed Mubarak bin Daina received South Korean Ambassador Koo Hyunmo, who was accompanied by delegation representing Suddokwon Landfill Site Management. Dr. bin Daina discussed with the South Korean ambassador and the accompanying delegation cooperation in the sector of the environment, stressing the importance of exchanging expertise and efficient practices. He commended South Korean strides to protect the environment, stressing particularly green technology, the management of waste and the production of environment-friendly energy. Dr. bin Daina was briefed about the Suddokwon Landfill Site Management in turning solid waste into energy and industrial resources using cutting edge modern and environment-friendly technologies. The South Korean company stage a presentations highlighting its scientific strides in managing industrial, health, domestic and construction waste. The ambassador stressed the key role played by the Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) to protect the environment in the region and the world, welcoming cooperation with Bahrain.
