SCIA President receives Grand Mufti of Russia

Manama, Dec.8 (BNA): President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, received Grand Mufti of Central religious administration of Russian Muslims, Talgat Tajuddin. Shaikh Abdulrahman praised the generous hospitality during his visit to the Republic of Bashkortostan, affirming the kind relationship between SCIA and other Islamic associations around the world, including the Islamic associations in Russia. The Grand Mufti expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom's efforts in highlighting the principles of tolerance and peace under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, conveying his hopes in strengthening the relations between SCIA and the Central Spiritual Administraion of Muslims of Russia to serve Islam and to promote the Islamic morals.
