Scientists, Corporate Leaders To Discuss Global Issues At M'sian University

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 10 (Bernama) -- A group of scientists and corporate members will discuss global issues related to food at a forum organised by University Technology Malaysia (UTM) on Feb 14. The programme is done in collaboration with the New Zealand embassy and Academy of Sciences Malaysia. With the theme "Thinking About Food", the programme will be held at UTM's International campus here. "The theme is linked to food, nutrition science and the effects of environmental changes on the production of food and agro-science," UTM said in a statement today. The forum wil feature a premier lecture by General-Counsel in science to New Zealand Prime Minister, Sir Peter Gluckman, the launching of a book entitled "A New Landmark of The Malaysian Antarctic Research Programme" and a roundtable discussion on Climate Change and Food Security. -- BERNAMA
