SCW to hold press conference

Manama, June 15 (BNA): The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Secretariat General will hold tomorrow Sunday (June 16) a press conference to announce the launch of the 6th session of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for Bahraini Women Empowerment. The biennial award is granted to the best ministries, public and private institutions, non-government organisations (NGOs) and individuals in recognition of their achievements in empowering active Bahraini women and adopting strategies to integrate their needs in development and equal opportunities. The conference will be held with the participation of the award committee members and Head of the committee SCW Secretary General Hala Al Ansari. It will cast light on the goals achieved by the award and the development fields covered according to its categories and criteria.
