SCW President receives fine art artists

Manama, Nov. 26 (BNA): Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King, President of the Supreme Council for Women, expressed appreciation of the Bahraini artists’ contributions to enrichening the artistic and cultural scene. HRH the SCW President today received a number of artists participating in the Bahrain Art Across Border initiative, and praised the latter's role in boost the Bahraini artists’ skills and disseminating their artistic productions in several countries that contributes to the promotion of Bahrain's standing as a cultural beacon and a host to creative artists. HRH the SCW President welcomed Tamkeen’s sponsorship of the initiative for three years, during which Tamkeen organizes annual exhibitions and holds three international artistic activities to promote works of fine art artists.
