SEA discusses solar energy projects with a French company

Manama, June 14 (BNA): Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA)’s President Dr. Abdulhussein bin Ali Mirza virtually met French Former Prime Minister François Charles Armand Fillon, in the presence of a delegation from the French company "Energy Pole," to discuss investment opportunities in solar energy projects. The SEA President praised the company's efforts and global experience that was gained in establishing, financing and operating central solar power plants, hailing a number of major and world-leading projects in the fields of clean energy generation from renewable energy resources made by the company. The meeting discussed investment possibilities and prospects in central and distributed solar energy projects in the Kingdom along with the most important projects and priority initiatives that the authority intends to work on during the current year, welcoming opportunities for joint cooperation and possibilities of exchanging experiences and encouraging investments in areas of common interest. The delegation praised the great steps made by the SEA to advance the sustainable energy sector in Bahrain. It also reviewed the company's strategies and techniques in implementing solar energy projects and the most important services that are consistent with the developments of the renewable energy sector in the Kingdom.
