SEA President discusses exchanging experiences and investments with UK

Manama, Apr. 15 (BNA): Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA)’s President Dr. Abdul-Hussain bin Ali Mirza received British Ambassador to Bahrain Roderick Drummond, and the embassy’s Economic Development Attaché Iman Al Olaiwat. Dr. Mirza praised the close historical relations that bind the two kingdoms, which have an important and positive impact on enriching aspects of cooperation in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency. SEA president briefed them on the achievements made in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector in Bahrain under the directives of the leadership, highlighting the importance of strengthening cooperation. He discussed opportunities for exchanging experiences and investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. In particular, offering investment opportunities for British companies to contribute to sustainable energy projects in the Kingdom. The ambassador expressed his great pleasure to see such great progress made by Bahrain in promoting the sustainable energy sector, which SEA had a pivotal role in achieving, and he expressed welcome and willingness on the British side to expand the horizons of cooperation in the fields of sustainable energy.
