SEA President holds virtual meeting with Safir delegation

Manama, Mar. 9 (BNA): President of the Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA), Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, held a virtual meeting with a high profile delegation from Safir company, led by Yanal Jallad, in the presence of the company’s Executive Director Francois Ganneau and Sale Director Adnan Al-Khatib. Dr. Mirza pointed out the important contributions of the two companies, Total Solar and Altaqaa, in international projects all over the world. He lauded the wealth of experience gained over ten years by focusing on main renewable energy projects in the region. He praised the competitive experience garnered to set up the Safir company to provide optimum services in the field of renewable energy. Dr. Mirza highlighted through a visual presentation the achievements made in the field of renewable energy and energy competence. He cast light on the kingdom’s strides in attaining the national goals in this respect which reflects Bahrain’s interest in clean energy and maximizing benefit from it to promote the principles of comprehensive development. Dr. Mirza also shed light on main projects and initiatives of priority for SEA as well as cooperation between the authority and the Safir company to enhance its role in backing renewable energy projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The delegation praised the big strides made by SEA, stressing keenness on supporting the authority’s efforts and achieving the goals of the National Renewable Energy Strategy. It’s worth noting that the Safir company is a company specializing in renewable energy. It was founded through partnership between Total Solar, a pioneering international company in renewable energy, and Altaqaa, a leading company in energy production and distribution.
