SEA President receives APICORP delegation

Manama, Jan. 22 (BNA): President of the Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA), Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, received here today the Chief Executive of the Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation (APICORP), Dr. Ahmed Ali Attiga. Dr. Mirza lauded the efforts of APICORP to develop the economic sector in Bahrain and the region. SEA president gave a presentation about the achievements of the sustainable energy sector in the kingdom, and the available investment opportunities for local and international companies. Dr. Ahmed Ali Attiga said that APICORP, as a multi-lateral financial institution, has always been an effective partner to member states across the Arab world in supporting and developing their energy sector. He stressed that APICORP looks forward to working with SEA to contribute positively to achieving the kingdom’s vision and long-term goals regarding the energy sector. The APICORP delegation also expressed thanks and appreciation to SEA president and officials for the tremendous efforts they are exerting to make Bahrain a distinguished centre for clean and renewable energy.
