SEA President receives Turkish ambassador

Manama, Nov. 11 (BNA): The Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA)'s President Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received Turkish Ambassador to Bahrain Esen Çakil. The meeting reviewed the most important achievements and initiatives made in renewable energy and energy efficiency fields that are included in the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP). Dr. Mirza highlighted the current and future projects in Bahrain and referred to the Kingdom’s goal in reaching zero carbon neutrality by 2060. He praised the bilateral relations and affirmed the keenness to enhance cooperation in renewable energy and energy efficiency fields. The SEA president was briefed on Turkey’s achievements in the same fields. The ambassador expressed her pleasure to see the great progress made by Bahrain in advancing the sustainable energy sector and affirmed the keenness to cooperate at all levels.
