Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad: NAC milestone, a turning point for Bahrain

Manama, Feb.13 (BNA): HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa on the 20th anniversary of the National Action Charter (NAC). He also extended congratulations to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and to the loyal people of Bahrain, describing the NAC milestone as turning-point in the history of modern Bahrain. He paid tribute to the loyal people of Bahrain who endorsed the National Action Charter by a sweeping 98,4% of the votes and affirmed their allegiance to the leadership of HM the King. He stressed the importance of the charter which heralded sweeping strides and put the Kingdom of Bahrain on track to attain sustainable development strides, including sports. "The NAC anniversary will remain engraved in the memory of all Bahraini people”, he said, hailing the Kingdom’s wide-ranging development strides, led by HM the King.
