Shooting Incidents On Southern Thailand: Another Body Found In Pattani

PATTANI, June 19 (Bernama) – Thai authorities have found the third body of three teenagers who were shot dead by an unknown number of armed men while they were hunting in Kampung Tolang, Yarang in restive southern Thailand on Saturday. Yarang police chief Col Monteri Kongwadmai said the body of the 13-year-old youth was discovered at 10am local time Sunday. “The missing body was found about 120 metres from the scene (shooting incident). There were bullet wounds in the head and body,” he said here. Monteri said police were still investigating the motive behind the shooting that occurred at 11.50am. Police have also questioned two youths who managed to escape to safety during the incident, he added. The other two teenagers who were killed in the incident were aged 18 and 19 and all the victims were from Panarek here. -- BERNAMA
