Shura Chairman: Bahraini-Egyptian relations reached advanced levels

Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, has affirmed that the deep-rooted Bahraini-Egyptian relations have reached advanced levels and achieved remarkable growth in all fields thanks to the keenness of the leaders of the two brotherly countries to strengthen bilateral relations so as to make them solid and distinguished. The Shura Chairman was speaking as he received here today the newly-appointed Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain, Yasser Shaaban, to whom he wished every success in carrying out his diplomatic duties. Al-Saleh pointed out that the Bahraini-French cooperation and coordination are increasing in the vital and importance fields, particularly in economy, education, investment and tourism. He stressed that the two brotherly countries boast a rich record of joint successes and achievements, which places them on the right path of complementarity that their leaderships are keen to reach. The Shura Chairman also praised the role played by brotherly Egypt to support Arab issues, highlighting its efforts to overcome challenges facing Arab countries, and citing its keenness to host Arab meetings aimed at discussing ways to achieve Arab prosperity. The ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to Al-Saleh for the meeting, praising the Shura Council’s role in supporting cooperation with Egypt.
