Shura Chairman congratulates HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa

Manama, Nov.30(BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Sleh sent a cable of congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President on the Bahraini Women’s Day. He praised Bahraini women’s strides, commending the efforts and follow-up of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa to support women’s status and protect their rights and dignity and highlight their great achievements. He said that Bahraini women have become a role model for their dedicated work, assuming responsibilities and platying their role in promoting national development. He said that Bahrain women assume high-level leadership positions, reflecting Bahrain’s drive and vision to engage women, support equal opportunities, in line with the democratic process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. He paid tribute to HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa for dedicating the 2020 edition to honour women diplomats and showcase their contributions to Bahraini diplomacy. He commended the SCW-led efforts to enhance women’s status and ensure their steady progress, wishing HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa health and happiness.
