Shura Chairman congratulates Saudi counterpart

Manama, Sept. 22 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, sent a cable of congratulations to Saudi Arabia's Shura Council Speaker Shaikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Shaikh, on his country’s National Day. Shura chairman expressed pride and appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s great role under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in spreading peace, confronting extremism and firmly confronting terrorism and external interference, to ensure security and stability in the region. Al Saleh praised the support and consolidation of Arab solidarity by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, safeguarding legitimate Arab rights and serving the issues of the Arab and Islamic nations, wished Saudi Arabia further progress and prosperity. He confirmed the great cooperation relations in the parliamentary field, affirming the council’s keenness to support and strengthen these ties for the interests of the two countries and peoples. Shura chairman sent a similar cable to Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, appreciating the embassy’s role to develop fraternal relations between the two countries.
