Shura Chairman marks International Human Rights Day

Manama, Dec. 9 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the International Human Rights Day, which falls on December 10 every year. The chairman lauded HM the King’s vision and interest in human rights and affirmed that the reform project has contributed in consolidating rights and freedoms, principles of equality and justice, and enhancing the development process in the politics, economy, society and culture, making Bahrain a pioneering example regionally and internationally. He expressed his appreciation to the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his efforts to strengthen the human rights system in the Kingdom and his continuous keenness to implement humanitarian programs and initiatives.
