Shura Chairman praises Bahraini people's awareness

Manama, Apr. 16 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh stressed the importance of social awareness in complying with regulations put in place by the competent authorities as part of the national campaign to fight coronavirus (COVID-19). He said abiding by the health instructions, enforcing social distancing and behaving correctly will boost Bahrain’s ability to overcome the crisis and continue the comprehensive development march. The Shura Council Chairman praised HRH the Premier’s message to the Bahraini people, stressing that it reflects respect to them and their patriotic stances in all circumstances. He also lauded the tireless efforts of the medical crews and the national taskforce to protect people’s health. He emphasised the kingdom’s remarkable success since its preemptive measures to combat COVID-19 which helped reduce the number of infections that earned Bahrain an international praise. The Shura Council Chairman affirmed that the exceptional circumstances and great challenges in combating the virus require a sense of more national responsibility and social awareness by complying with the instructions of the relevant authorities. He commended patriotism and high awareness of the Bahraini people, stressing that the current circumstances necessitate promoting this sense of belonging.
