Shura Chairman praises HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s US visit

Manama, Mar.5 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh stressed the importance of the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the United States of America. He underlined the strategic significance of the visit which came amid regional and international developments, stressing Bahrain’s drive to develop partnership and cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, “The visit shows the depth of Bahrain-US bilateral relations and reflected the level of joint cooperation to face regional and global challenges”, he said, stressing defence partnership and economic and trade cooperation. Al Saleh praised HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s keenness on strengthening Bahrain’s relations and alliances, hailing the outcome of his key visit to the USA, He underlined the Shura Council’s keenness on supporting HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s efforts to further cooperation with the US as a strategic ally for Bahrain to maintain international peace and stability.
