Shura Chairman praises role of parliamentary diplomacy in handling challenges

Cairo, Feb. 19 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh praised success of the Bahraini parliamentary diplomacy and its active participation in Arab gatherings. He lauded its role in highlighting the kingdom’s big development strides in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He also hailed the programmes being implemented by the government under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The Shura Council Chairman expressed utmost pride in joint Arab cooperation and coordinating parliamentary work in various international gatherings. He was speaking as he met yesterday with Speakers of the Arab councils and parliaments taking part in the fourth conference of the Arab Parliament and the Speakers of the Arab councils and parliaments currently held in Cairo. Discussions focused on the development march of the Arab parliamentary work and unifying stances between the legislative branches in the Arab countries. Ways of handling regional challenges and crises were also reviewed.
