Shura Chairman receives Algerian Ambassador

Manama, Jan. 9 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received Algeria's Ambassador to Bahrain Abdelhamid Ahmed Khoja. Al Saleh praised the strong ties and cooperation between Bahrain and Algeria,to support shared interests. He highlighted the advanced levels reached by the Bahraini-Algerian relations. The Shura Chairman praised the efforts made by Algeria to host parliamentary meetings and conferences, and stressed the Shura Council's interest in strengthening parliamentary relations. The ambassador praised the Council's important role in supporting the legislative achievements and successes in Bahrain. Khoja lauded Bahrain's progress and stressed Algeria's keenness to expand cooperation with Bahrain and to enhance joint work in support of issues of common interest.
