Shura Chairman receives Arab Parliament Speaker

Manama, Jan. 12 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received Arab Parliament Speaker Adel Abdulrahman Al Asoomi. The chairman praised the initiatives and programs presented by the Arab Parliament to consolidate cooperation and integration between legislative parliaments in Arab countries. The meeting discussed the Arab Parliament’s efforts and confirmed its active role in unifying aspirations of Arab countries and peoples. Al Saleh affirmed the council's keenness to push Arab parliamentary relations towards more cooperation and expertise exchanging. The speaker praised the important role played by Shura council in supporting Arab parliamentary work and achievements, especially in regional and international parliamentary forums.
